There are always loads of great places to see Father Christmas in Cheshire. This post is going to feature all the Santa’s Grotto Cheshire 2026 that I can find. There are so many great family Christmas Events North West to choose from but if you specifically want to see Father Christmas then this is the post for you. This post is part of a series of posts on Where to see Santa North West England.

I’ve done my best to add the details of all these events accurately and keep them up to date but I strongly advise you to click through and check on the organiser’s website to ensure the dates, locations and times are correct. Events maybe changed or cancelled and I will not necessarily be aware of this. Links are providers so you can confirm all details for yourself before travelling or booking. Some of these events require pre-booking so I’d recommend you do that as soon as you decide you want to in order to avoid disappointment.

Christmas at Gulliver’s World – Book now for 2026

When: Selected date from 14th November- 24th December 2026

Where: Gulliver’s World, Warrington

Cost: from £27 per ticket

Summary: Enjoy festive rides and attractions, North Pole Express, a magical winter wonderland to explore, spot Santa and choose a gift from the Elf workshop.

Christmas at Magical Malpas – book now for 2026

When: 5th, 6th, 12th, 13th, 19th, 20th and 23rd December 2026

Where: Magical Malpas Farm

Cost: Children £20, Adults £10, babies under 12 months £2

Summary: This event starts with a festive tractor ride to the festive barn where you will enjoy a warm drink and decorate a gingerbread man. You can also write a letter to Santa, make reindeer food, play elf games and visit the role play area. Then there will be a visit to the grotto before meeting the rabbits, donkeys, sheep and goats.

Christmas Alpine retreat, Castaway play, Congleton – 2026 tickets on sale now

When: 21st November -24th December 2026

Where: 71 Moss Lane, Congleton, CW12 3BP

Cost: from £9.99 per adult and £24.99 per child (£9.99 for under 1s), family of 4 £49.99 (multiple different package options available)

Summary: Families can visit Santa’s private grotto, explore the magical woodland and wishing tunnel, see the Elf Cottage, and enjoy festive surprises along the way. There is also a visit to the Grinch in his lair and a stop at the new North Pole Post Office, where children can send their Christmas wishes.

The event also includes lots of hands on activities and family fun. Children can choose a toy from Santa’s Toy Shop, decorate gingerbread with Mrs Claus, play in the winter woodland, and enjoy a snowball fight area. Families can race in the sleigh challenge, make reindeer food for Christmas Eve, and even build their own bear to take home.

Meet Father Christmas at the farm, Tatton park – book now for 2026

When: selected dates 21st November – 24th December 2026

Where: Tatton Park Farm, Knutsford

Cost: Adult £12.50 (includes Farm entry). Child £14 (includes Farm entry and gift from Father Christmas)

Summary: Find Father Christmas and his elf helpers in a festive grotto. Enjoy roaming entertainers, festive choirs, brass bands, crafts and delicious treats in the Christmas Cafe.

Santa cruise, Anderton boat lift – book now for 2026

When: 19th, 20th, 21st, 23rd and 24th December 2026

Adults £10, children over 1 £15, under 12 months £4

Santa is once again returning to celebrate this festive season with us. He is bringing with him some helpers, his story book, some new songs and we’re sure there will be some gifts too!

Santa loves having his photograph taken, so there will be opportunity for every family to take their own photo with him on the cruise.

The cruise will last approx. 45mins

Meet Santa at The Hayloft, Warrington – no details yet for 2026

Where: The Hayloft, Sandy Lane Farm Sandy Lane Bold WA8 3XP

When: 20th – 24th December 2025

Join the elves for some fun in their enchanting workshop, including making magical reindeer food ready to sprinkle on your lawn on Christmas. Travel on the enchanting miniature Christmas railway before entering the magical grotto to enjoy a story from Santa and receive a gift for each child!

Please wrap up warm as this is an outdoor undercover event. The train ride has no cover so please dress for the weather.

50-55 minute experience: £21.50 per child including gift and train ride, £7.50 per adult (14 years +) including train ride.

Under 1s WITHOUT an older paying sibling will require a full child ticket please.

Under 1s, £8 WITH an older paying sibling and will receive a gift.

Santa’s Enchanted Grotto, Grosvenor shopping centre – no details yet for 2026

Where: Grosvenor Shopping Centre 3-10 Newgate St, Chester

When: 21st November – 24th December 2025

Cost: £14 per child (includes gift), £6 per adult

Get ready to step into the spotlight for an immersive, festive, movie-inspired journey guided by the Jolly Enchanted Elves, ending with a personal visit with Santa himself.

The grotto will be located within St Michael’s Row inside the Grosvenor Shopping Centre, filled with seasonal sparkle and Christmas spirit.

Each experience will last around 30 minutes, and each child will receive a gift from Santa to go home with.

You are welcome to visit the farm before and/or after your visit to Santa. Ticket includes a visit to Santa, gift and a free return visits for 1 month.

Dickensian Grotto at Grosvenor museum – no details yet for 2026

When: 6th & 7th December 2025

Experience the sights and smells of a Victorian Christmas, set within Chester’s Grosvenor Museum.
Join us at Grosvenor Museum, Grosvenor Street over the festive period, where we’ll be hosting the original Father Christmas and Mother Christmas. Come and meet them in their enchanted Dickensian grotto, complete with traditional toys and festive cheer.

Festive boat trips and Santa’s Grotto, National waterways museum, Ellesmere port – book now for 2026

Where: National Waterways Museum, Ellesmere Port, South Pier Road, Ellesmere Port, Cheshire, CH65 4FW

Meet Father Christmas at the museum in his Grotto with the option of also taking a festive boat trip along the canal with some of his elves and enjoy singing, games, stories and a treasure trail.

Santa’s grotto at Walton Hall – book now for 2026

When: selected dates from 28th November – 22nd December 2026.

£14 per child. Includes a visit to see Santa, a present and a puzzle trail.

There will be photographs and gifts to purchase of your magical moment on the day. There will also be lots of other wonderful festive activities to take part in, including craft activities to keep all the family busy!

Roast Marshmallows with Santa, Into the wild – no details yet for 2026

Where: Into The Wild Ltd, Ashley, WA14 3PT. Full walking route to get to them is on the website. No onsite parking.

When: 6th -21st December 2025

Personal session with Santa in his tipi. Event includes a special card to fill in and post in Santa’s magical post box, as well as a delicious marshmallow for each family member to toast with Santa himself around the fire whilst he makes everyone laugh.
