I can’t believe it’s time to start thinking about Christmas 2025 but many of the events below are already available to book. Find all the Christmas events Liverpool 2025 below. I’m sure there will be many more events in Liverpool and I’ll add them as the details are released over the next few months so save this page and keep coming back. I’ve done my best to add the details of all these events accurately and keep them up to date but I strongly advise you to click through and check on the organiser’s website to ensure the dates, locations, times are correct. Events maybe changed or cancelled and I will not necessarily be aware of this. Links are providers so you can confirm all details for yourself before travelling or booking. Some of these events require pre-booking so I’d recommend you do that as soon as you decide you want to in order to avoid disappointment.

Christmas light trails Liverpool

Enchanted at Knowsley Safari – book now for 2025

Where: Knowsley Safari park

When: 22nd November – 23rd December 2025

Cost: Adults and children £9.50 – £25, Toddlers (1-2 years) £2, under 1s free.

Summary: The Foot Safari will be transform into a magical wonderland, where you can wander among illuminated animals, from camels to wolves, to exciting new additions like towering giraffes and playful lion cubs.

You can also toast marshmallow, enjoy food and drinks and rides at additional costs. You can add on a trip to Santa’s Grotto.

The North Pole experience – book now for 2025

Summary: This Christmas enjoy up to three hours of magical activities. The ticket includes a visit to Santa (and gift), elf workshop, gingerbread decorating, elf village with ice rink, food and drink.

Brunch with Mrs Claus, The Reader – book now for 2025

Cost: £20 per child, £15 per adult, under 1s £10

Summary: Join Mrs Claus as she shares the secret of what REALLY happens up in the North Pole in December. Enjoy some delightfully snow dusted festive pancakes, and Storyhunter elves are on hand to help Mrs Claus put on some holly jolly games, crafts and songs. 

Strike a pose, there’ll be chance to take pictures with Mrs Claus herself and a gift for children to take home.

Lunch with Santa, Formby Hall – book now for 2025

Enjoy a delicious Christmas carvery in a beautifully decorated setting, with joyful entertainment to delight guests of all ages. Children will love meeting Santa himself, joining in the Christmas disco, playing fun party games, and interacting with festive characters throughout the afternoon.

Frozen, a magical afternoon, Formby Hall – book now for 2025

Some of your favourite characters from the magical movie Frozen arrive to meet and greet excited little fans. Get your cameras ready and your voices warmed up — the magic begins at 12:30pm with the first part of our enchanting live show.

At 1:15pm, enjoy a light lunch with options the whole family will love, before the adventure continues with more Frozen-themed entertainment, interactive fun, and musical moments that will melt your heart.

Dancing toys, glittering decorations and shimmering lights will fill the streets as Liverpool ONE stages its first-ever Toy Parade to kick off the Christmas countdown. 

Christmas on the park (Chavasse Park)

When: Friday 7 November – Wednesday 31 December 2025

Selection of children’s rides, festive games, food, treats and more to Chavasse Park. Perfect for families with younger children to enjoy a festive fun experience right in the heart of Liverpool ONE. 

Free Magical Thursday Evenings

When: Every Thursday from 20 November -18 December 

Thursday evenings come alive with magical moments in the run up to Christmas. Highlights include giant illuminated penguins, carol-oke sessions, pass the parcel and festive surprises for visitors of all ages. Each Thursday offers unforgettable festive experiences for the whole family. 

Free Christmas Trail

When: Saturday 15 November – Sunday 4 January 

The popular Christmas Trail returns, creating a fun adventure around Liverpool ONE’s decorations and shop windows.  

This interactive journey takes families on a magical quest discovering festive characters across the destination, complete with riddles and games for youngsters to enjoy. Perfect for keeping little ones entertained while Christmas shopping. 

Bar Hütte at Liverpool ONE

Saturday 8 November – Wednesday 31 December 2025

Bar Hütte returns to transform Chavasse Park into a magical Christmas destination, nestled beneath the iconic 25-metre Christmas tree. 

This much-loved festive favourite offers eight Cosy Karaoke Hüttes for festive sing-alongs, an exclusive VIP party lodge for larger groups, a lively alpine bar atmosphere and seasonal drinks including signature ski-shots and Bombardinos. Bark Hütte also returns for four-legged friends, complete with complimentary treats and photo props. 

The festive events programme includes traditional Christmas wreath-making workshops, live music from local musicians and DJs, and the Santa Claus Club where little ones can meet Father Christmas. New for this year, the free Festive After School Club runs every Tuesday during term time from 3:30pm, featuring Christmas colouring and free ‘Carol-Oke’ for kids.

This festive family trail brings to life the charming book Mr Santa by Jarvis.
This self-led trails around Calderstones Park last around 60 minutes and is perfect for all ages. The trail starts at The Reader Bookshop.

Icebox Liverpool – temporary ice rink in Liverpool – Details for 2025

Southport Christmas Spectacular – 2025 details

Where: Southport town centre

Liverpool Winter Festival

When: 21^st November 2025 – 5^th January 2026

Where: Pier Head

Liverpool’s iconic Pier Head will transform into a sparkling Christmas village this winter – full of festive lights, rides, large ice rink, markets, food, Bavarian bar, tipis and live entertainment.

Entry is completely free, so everyone can enjoy the atmosphere, but the real magic happens when you book our special experiences.

Skate beneath the stars on the ice rink, meet Santa or the Grinchmas in our cosy themed grottos, or celebrate in style inside your own Luxe Dome Pod.
