Meet & greet Father Christmas at Quarry Bank – book now for 2025
When: 5th – 22nd December 2025 selected dates

Cost: £2.50 per child, admission fee required except for NT members
Summary: This is not the usual grotto and activities that Quarry Bank have done in previous years. Step into the festive spirit with a magical encounter in the upper garden, where Father Christmas is busy preparing for the big day. Share your wish list, have your photo taken, and enjoy a special moment with him. Every child will receive a sticker and a small treat to take home.
Please arrive at the start of your booked session. Each family group will enjoy a personal meet-and-greet with Father Christmas during their timeslot.
The event takes place in the Back Sheds, near the Garden Café.

Roast Marshmallows with Santa, Into the wild – book now for 2025.
Where: Into The Wild Ltd, Ashley, WA14 3PT. Full walking route to get to them is on the website. No onsite parking.
When: 6th -21st December 2025
Personal session with Santa in his tipi. Event includes a special card to fill in and post in Santa’s magical post box, as well as a delicious marshmallow for each family member to toast with Santa himself around the fire whilst he makes everyone laugh.

Storytime with Father Christmas at Ness Botanic gardens – Book now for 2025

When: 7th & 14th December 2025
Cost: £9.50 per child, price includes a gift and 1 child’s admission to the gardens.
The man in red is visiting once more to hear your Christmas wishes and as you settle down by the fireside, to tell you stories of his adventures. He’s told us he’ll bring a few sacks of gifts for the children too.
There will be time for each child to have a chat and if you’d like to, bring a letter to Father Christmas on the day. He loves to read what you’ve been up to and all the kind things you’ve done through the year.

On arrival you can write a letter to Santa and make some reindeer food with Jingles the Elf. Then its time for a Story with the big guy himself, where each child will receive a small gift. Finally a trip to Bidlea wouldn’t be complete without a Diddy scoop of your favourite ice cream.
