Some of these events require pre-booking so I’d recommend you do that as soon as you decide you want to in order to avoid disappointment.

The North Pole experience – book now for 2026

Cost: From £52.50 per adult or child over 1. Children under 12 months from £18.90

Summary: This Christmas enjoy 3 – 3.5 hours of magical activities. The ticket includes a visit to Santa (and gift), elf workshop, gingerbread decorating, elf village with ice rink, food and drink.

Santa’s grotto, Dobbies, Liverpool & Southport – book now for 2026

When: 22nd November – 24th December 2026

Where: Dobbies Liverpool, 1a Speke Hall Avenue, Liverpool , L24 1UX

Santa’s tea party, John Lewis, Liverpool ONE – book now for 2026

When: 19th – 23rd December 2026

Where: John Lewis, Liverpool ONE

Cost: Children £25 + £2.50 booking fee, includes 2 adults free, additional adults £8 + 80p booking fee

Join Santa and his elves for story time, including cocoa and a scrummy snack for kids to tuck into (plus a hot drink and slice of cake for adults, too). There’s plenty more fun to be had, including a gift from the big guy.

Where: Pier Head, liverpool

Bootle Strand grotto – no details yet for 2026

Where: In Another Place, L20 4SS

Cost: £6-£9 per child

The grotto is a full Christmas experience with Tin soldiers and Elves helping prepare for Father Christmas’s arrival.

Santas grotto at Sefton Meadows – book now for 2026

When: 6th, 7th, 13th, 20th, 21st & 24th December 2025

Join us on selected dates throughout December and enter into our magical world of beautiful photo opportunities…nestled among the  fir trees you will find Santa himself in his magical grotto!  

There will be festive crafts for the children to enjoy, and friendly elves on hand to ensure you get some magical photos.

Storytime with Santa – Floral Pavilion – book now for 2026

This wonderful show will bring the magic of Christmas alive as children will be captivated by traditional and modern stories as well as plenty of festive songs to join in with, in what promises to be a fun experience for the whole family.

Every child will have the opportunity to talk to Santa and give him their Christmas wishes, and will also receive a festive gift. To make sure the whole family can enjoy the experience, for every child ticket purchased up to 2 adults can come along absolutely FREE, so be sure to bring your cameras as there will be plenty of photo opportunities.

Father Christmas storytelling at The Bluecoat – no details yet for 2026

When: 29th November – 21st December 2025

Cost: £13 per person, Family Ticket: £47

With a sackful of silly stories and a last-minute chance to check which list you might be on, Father Christmas invites you to a Winter Warmer full of family-friendly giggles, noise, and nonsense! This 60-minute show includes a chance for every family to meet, greet, and chat with Father Christmas—and take your own photos with the help of his friendly Elf.

Story time with Santa, Liverpool Town Hall – book now for 2026

Where: Liverpool Town Hall

When: Selected dates from 28th November – 24th December 2026

Join Father Christmas and his friend, Buddy the Elf, as they share magical stories and sing a song or two in the cosy setting of Liverpool Town Hall!

This unique, festive event is an intimate and engaging experience which will leave you and your little ones spellbound. Each child gets a turn of sharing their Christmas wishes with Santa, before receiving a special gift.
