Strawberry picking near Liverpool 2026
I love strawberry picking, it’s a great low cost family activity. This is my guide to strawberry picking near Liverpool and it includes the Wirral too. Fully updated for 2026. Find all the Pick your own farms in North West England here.
The strawberry season usually starts in June and runs to late August or mid-July depending on the varieties planted. I have included links to the farms websites and Facebook pages where they will update and share current opening hours and crop availability. I plan to check regularly and keep this post up to date over the summer too.
Some of these farms have other fruit and veg that you can pick too.
Sandhill Strawberry Farm – Open now for 2026
Location: Warrington Road, Rainhill, Widnes, Prescot L35 6PG
Fruit and vegetables available:
- Strawberries
- raspberries
- blackberries
- pumpkins
This is a smaller pick your own that specialises in strawberries and raspberries. Closed until June when the strawberry picking season can start, this is a lovely location to take the family. Especially if they love all things strawberries and raspberries, they also host a pumpkin event in October where you can pick your own pumpkin, and even sell Christmas trees and wreaths in the lead up to Christmas.
This is a great little spot to consider if you are local. Check the website nearer the time to get an exact opening day and time. You don’t need to pay to enter and you pay for what you pick.

Delph Farm Pick Your Own – open now for 2026
Location – Delph Farm, Little Crosby, L23 4TU
When – Open now for 2026 on selected date (check the link below to ensure they are open before travelling)
No booking required
Free parking available. Cash and card accepted
Entry: Adults £2.00, Children £1.00, Strawberries: £4.00 per punnet
Ice creams, hot and cold drinks & snacks available.
Over the coming months they hope to offer a wide range of pick-your-own crops including strawberries, gooseberries, dahlias, sunflowers, wildflowers, potatoes, raspberries, carrots, onions, beetroot, beans and more.

Claremont farm – open now for 2026
Location: Claremont Farm, Old Clatterbridge Road, Bebington, Wirral, CH63 4JB
Fruit and vegetables available:
- Strawberries
- Pumpkins
The pick your own strawberries have started for 2026.
There is also a farm shop, butchers, seafood shack and cafe on the farm all year round.
No booking required. Children aged 10 and under £4, adults £6. This includes a 1kg punnet if you want.
