Where is Viking Golf Southport?
Viking golf is easy to find right next to Marine lake and Adventure Coast Southport.
There is free parking if you are only visiting Southport for a game of crazy golf. However if you are visiting for a full day out, there is plenty of parking in Southport and you could even arrive by train. The train station is about a 20 minute walk away.

What to expect at Viking Adventure Golf
Viking golf is an 18 hole adventure golf course themed around Vikings. There is lots of water running through it too and the most gorgeous planting. There has been a lot of thought into the design of this adventure golf course.
The 18 holes are really fun and offer lots of different challenges for you to navigate. There are some simple holes and plenty more with an added challenge! This keeps everyone’s interests up. If one hole is a bit challenging for your kids, the next one will probably be more their level.
There is water flowing all through the course, including one hole where you need to jump the hole over a stream that flows through the hole. Don’t worry, if your ball ends up in the water you can get another one free from the hut. Mine did at one point!
How much is a game of adventure golf at Viking Golf?
At the time of writing a round of adventure golf at Viking golf costs £8 for children 16 and under and £10 for adults. You can book for a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children) for £32. These are online booking prices and it is a higher price if you don’t prebook.
When we visited we were able to prebook even 20 minutes before we played!

Our verdict
We all loved our round of adventure golf here. There were plenty of interesting holes to challenge us and keep us all interested. As well as less challenging holes so that our youngest didn’t get frustrated.
I particularly loved the theming and planting. It’s possibly the most beautiful adventure golf course we have visited.
We love adventure golf as it is something we can all enjoy. My kids were 8 and 11 when we visited and they both enjoyed the time we were there. There was definitely a competitive element but also lots of simply having fun on the course.
It took us about an hour to get around which I would say is about right for an adventure golf course. We did have to queue at some holes but not all and of course this will vary depending how busy it is when you visit.
