Find the best things to do with kids to end the year on a high with my list of New Years Eve family events Liverpool 2025. There’s a mix of family theatre and family parties. Many of these events require pre-booking so I’d recommend you do that as soon as you decide you want to in order to avoid disappointment.

New Year’s Eve Family Party, Crowne Plaza – book now for 2025

Where: Crowne Plaza, John Lennon Airport

You will be greeted with a drink upon arrival, followed by a hot and coldbuffet, children’s entertainer and disco.

Time: Arrival time 7pm followed by dinner, bar closes at mid-night, disco ends at 12.30am.

Christmas story trail at The storybarn – book now for 2025

Where: The Storybarn, Calderstones Park, Liverpool, L18 3JB

When: day time event

Cost: £15 for 1 adult and child, additional children £3, additional adults £1

This festive family trail brings to life the charming book Mr Santa by Jarvis.
This self-led trails around Calderstones Park last around 60 minutes and is perfect for all ages. The trail starts at The Reader Bookshop.

Cinderella, Shakespeare North Playhouse – book now for 2025

Time – 1pm

Cinderella is packed with magical moments, your favourite tunes, lots of laughter and a truly heartwarming message, this new production is the perfect family show for the festive season.

The Rock ‘n’ Roll Panto Jack and the beanstalk, Everyman Theatre Liverpool – book now for 2025

When – 10:30am

A musical adventure, with awesomely talented actor musicians taking you to new heights, as hero Jack battles the greedy giant to grab the gold and save the day. Expect cheeky one-liners, soaring solos and heaps of wacky costumes in a show for everyone from 3 to 103!

Liverpool Winter Festival

When: 11am – 10:30pm

Where: Pier Head
