May half term activities North West 2026

May half term is almost upon us. So today I’m sharing all the May half-term activities in North West England. There are lots of great ideas for kids’ activities. Find more great family events North West here. I’ve found family walks, museums with school holiday shows and workshops, family theatre, Jubilee celebrations and so much more.

Things to do at home this May half-term

Of course, it can get expensive if you go out every day of the school holidays and it really isn’t necessary. There are lots of great things that you can do at home and hopefully, if the weather is ok, in the garden too.

Here are a few ideas to get you started.

  • Play outdoor games, great if you have a couple of children or friends over. Find our favourite outdoor games for children here.
