Follow your trail map across the gardens and grounds. Once you’ve finished the trail, hop over to Bunnies’ Burrow (open Wednesday-Sunday, 11am-4pm) to collect your well-earned chocolate treat!

Dino-mite Easter Party at Dobbies, Southport
When – 9th – 12th April 2026
Kids will explore dinosaur-themed games, hunt for prehistoric surprises, and put their creativity to work by making their very own dino egg terrarium to take home.
The excitement continues with dinosaur races, where kids can see whose dino truck is the fastest on the track!

Easter book hunt & boogie, Calderstone Park

A fun, family disco in the Theatre Room, as well as springtime stories and Alice in Wonderland inspired crafts with our brilliant Storyhunters.
Then, venture into our magical Mansion House Garden for an Easter egg hunt with a twist! Once you’ve found a special token, bring it to Alice who’ll be excitedly waiting to swap it for a beautiful Easter book (books not included for under 1s).

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs – Easter Pantomime, St Helens Theatre Royal
When – 28th March – 12th April 2026.
When the Magic Mirror (Tim Lucas) reveals that Snow White (Chantelle Morgan) is the fairest of them all, the Wicked Witch (Shania Pain) orders a dramatic end to the young Princess’ life, but luck is on Snow White’s side as she escapes into the deep dark forbidden forest and finds shelter in a strange cottage, the home of seven unusual characters.

Free Easter Bunny trail at Royal Albert Dock
When – 30th March – 12th April 2026
Children can explore the dock to find 16 colourful bunny vinyls, each displaying a letter that helps spell a hidden Easter phrase. Solve the puzzle for a chance to win a spectacular family day out at the dock.
Start your adventure on the inner quay, where families can pick up a trail map, bunny ears, and a sticker for free from Roly’s Fudge or The Nest.
Use the map to hunt for the bunny vinyls hidden in venue windows, on food trucks, and in special locations. Once all letters are collected, unscramble them to reveal the secret phrase and submit your answer online to enter the prize draw.
The lucky winner will enjoy a family ticket for Splash Tours, arts and crafts goodies from The Nest, treats from Roly’s Fudge, and so much more.
Other Easter events
free, drop-in workshops throughout half term, including:
- Easter paper wreaths at Revolution
- Themed face-painting at PANAM
Workshops will run from 12pm–4pm on 31st March, 1st, 2nd, 7th, 8th, 9th April, offering hours of seasonal fun for little ones.
From 3rd to 6th April, a Dock Shorts animation will be projected onto the façade of the Maritime Museum, transforming the iconic building into a colourful Easter spectacle from 6:30pm-10pm.

All riding wristbands get unlimited goes on all attractions for 3 hours. The doors open 30 minutes before each session, we don’t want you to miss out, so arrive early. Sessions have limited capacity wise and do sell out so book to avoid disappointment.

Free Cristal Palace, Southport

Over the Easter weekend, Lord Street will be transformed into an open air ballroom for thousands of party goers as we welcome French theatre company Transe Express to town!
This breathtaking show will travel through 150 years of music and dance all underneath a 15m wide chandelier stage. This is a show that has to be seen to be believed.

Free Easter Trail Lunt Meadows
When – 4th April 2026
Starting at the Lunt Meadows Learning Centre, you will collect your question pack ready to set of on your adventure. Explore the wonders of Lunt Meadows as you follow this self led trail around the reserve. Discover the vast amounts of wildlife and incredible habitats whilst you hunt for the missing eggs to complete your trail sheet. On completion be sure to head back to our learning centre and collect your Easter themed reward and take part in some Easter themed crafts!
At 2:30pm there is a surprise visit from the Easter Bunny in the Education Centre!
