Some of these events require pre-booking so I’d recommend you do that as soon as you decide you want to in order to avoid disappointment.

Day of the dead family festival, Floral Pavilion, New Brighton – book now for 2025

Pumpkin patch trail at Gordale garden centre – details for 2025
Where: Chester High Road, Burton, South Wirral CH64 8TF
When: 18th – 31st October 2025
Cost: £4.50 per child – Includes trail sheet. No need to book, just turn up.
Set off on an adventure in search of the hidden pumpkins on the Pumpkin Trail, once you discover the secret code word you’ll be granted access to the Pumpkin Patch, where you can select your favourite pumpkin to take home.

Benty farm tea rooms pick your own pumpkins & children’s trail – Book now for 2025
Where: 3a school lane, Thurstaston, Wirral, CH61 0HH
When: Opens 11th – 26th October 2025 (weekends only)
Cost: £2.17 per adult, pumpkins charged in addition to this.
Further details: Plenty of photo opportunities this year, including their pumpkin house and much more! The annual children’s ‘Halloween Trail’ will also run on pumpkin picking dates (This is priced separately & does not need to be pre-booked).

Halloween trail at Ness Botanic gardens – Details for 2025
Where: Neston Road, Ness, Neston, Cheshire, CH64 4AY
When: 25th October – 3rd November 2025
Cost: free trail with standard entry fee.
Summary: There is plenty for all the family to see & a conundrum for 5-12 year olds to solve. The trail will take approximately 40 minutes to complete.

Halloween biscuit decorating at Ness Botanic gardens – book now for 2025

Cost: £6 per child
Summary: Each child will get to decorate 3 Halloween themed biscuits and create a Halloween craft to take home with them. Come dressed up and get in the Halloween spirit! Activities suitable for children 3 years and up.
