Easter egg hunts Lancashire 2026

Are you looking for Easter Egg Hunts Lancashire 2026? I’ve rounded up all the Easter egg hunts that I can find in the region so you can find the perfect one for your family. I will be continuing to update this post up to Easter. This is part of my guide to all the Easter egg hunts North West happening in spring 2026.

Please make sure you click through to the event organisers’ website and check the event is still running prior to travelling to your chosen event. Occasionally events do get cancelled due to severe weather etc and I can’t guarantee I will be aware.

Easter egg hunt, Winstanley park

When – 3rd – 5th April 2026.

Start your day off with a little sand art crafting, before setting off on an adventure through the woodlands on our Easter Egg Trail.

Our trail is unlike any other, a woodland adventure that’s full of surprises! Follow the clues to find all 10 Easter items for your basket, then swap your basket for a chocolate surprise at the end! 

Along the way you will find bunnies hanging from trees, hidden eggs on the ground and you may even bump into the Easter Bunny!

Food/Refreshments will also be on hand, where the children can play on the FREE bouncy castles and adults can rest for that much needed hot drink. Props will be up around the trail that make the perfect selfie opportunities (we’d appreciate a tag in these!) 

Donkey rides will also be available and these will be chargeable on the day at cost of £2.50

Easter Adventures at Rufford Old Hall

When – 28th March – 12th April 2026.

Make your way along the trail and find nature-inspired activities for the whole family.

The price of the trail is £3.50 per child (normal admission charges also apply) and includes a trail map and a chocolate egg at the end – regular chocolate egg and NOMO eggs which are vegan and free from gluten, peanuts and tree nuts.

Easter bunny trail, Gawthorpe Hall

When – 5th April 2026.

The family who lived at Gawthorpe Hall had a special ‘rabbit house’ for their pet bunnies, but the door was left open and the bunnies have escaped into the grounds! Grab a clipboard and trail sheet to see how many you can find in the gardens, then claim your chocolatey prize (while stocks last). Children – make sure to bring an adult with you and get them to put on wellies and a warm coat, you need to as well!

Easter at the Farm, Mrs Dowsons

When – 28th March – 12th April 2026.

Wander through the farm and take part in the Easter adventure trail, filled with fun challenges and surprises along the way. End your trail with meeting the Easter Bunny and receive a delicious chocolatey treat to take home.

Step into the Lambing Barn and experience the magic of Spring as you assist our farmers with bottle feeding the new arrivals. Spend the day exploring the farm, meeting our wonderful animals and enjoying the excitement of our indoor play area – a perfect place for little ones to burn off some energy.

Easter weekend specials, Ribble steam railway and museum

When – 3 – 6th April 2026

Easter Weekend Four days of all-day travel tickets steam train fun for the whole family. 

Easter weekend offers lots to do for the whole family. As well as the museum, café, playground and of course the magnificent trains we also have an Egg Hunt!!

Your ticket is valid to ride on any number of trains on the day you visit.

Easter family fun day, Lytham Hall

When – 5th April 2026.

The Easter Bunny has hidden her eggs in the woods so come and help her find them. There are lots of creatures hiding in the woods so watch out for the Fox. Collect some eggs and the Easter Bunny will give you a chocolate surprise.

Come and enjoy Cake decorating, Bouncy Castle, Kids Tombola, Bookstall, Easter Crafts and fun Games.

West Lancashire Light Railway Easter egg hunt

When – 5th April 2026.

Ride the trains, meet the Easter Bunny & join in our Grand Easter Egg Hunt! 

Two engines in steam, plus traditional games, free competition with Easter prizes, children’s fairground ride & our famous tearoom.

Don’t forget they are also open for normal running (at standard fares) on Good Friday and Easter Monday.

Easter on the farm and Lambing Live, Ridgeway Farm, Blackpool

When – 5th – 21st April 2026.

With golden egg prizes and a chance to meet the Easter Bunny himself, there really will be plenty of fun interactions for all the family!

Join the farmers in the Big Barn for lambing live where you may even witness a live birth if you are lucky. There are quite a few sheep to lamb this year and maybe a few kids too!

Easter trail in Gatty Park, Accrington

When – 30th March – 10th April 2026 (selected dates).

Pick up your entry form from Elmfield Hall reception, it’s just £1 per child, find the 10 clues, complete the answer, and claim your prize!

Dragon Egg Easter Quest, Hoghton Tower

When – 3rd – 6th April 2026.

The Dragon Riders have landed and are looking for new recruits to help them locate the missing dragon eggs which are scattered around Hoghton Tower. Take part in various quests and challenges and tick them off your checklist! Learn about these mystical creatures, meet our enthusiastic characters and become a legendary Dragon Rider!

A perfect event for any dragon enthusiast and, of course, kids who enjoy story-telling and love to be creative!

Suitable for children aged 5-12. The event will run 11am – 3pm each day. You can arrive any time from 11am, with last entry at 2pm. We recommend allowing at least 90 minutes to enjoy your adventure.

Cuerden Easter Egg Hunt

When – 3rd – 6th April 2026

Pick up a map from Cuerden Community Shop (Opposite Cuerden View Cafe) and solve the clues to find all the Eggs in our Pinetum on Berkeley Drive – PR5 6BY

Maps cost £2 and you will receive a prize upon finishing!

Community shop is open Friday 3rd April – Monday 6th of April, 10am – 3pm

No need to book – just turn up at the shop.

Easter Dragon Eggventure. Samlesbury Hall

When – 30th March – 12th April 2026

Join the Dragon Master and his lovable pet dragon Gilbert for a mythical experience at Samlesbury Hall this Spring.  Dragon EGGventure is more than a simple egg hunt, it’s a quest to re-discover the lost stories of magical creatures from the legends of Britain.  Explore the hall and grounds to follow the quest – you might even find some treasure.

With live action puppetry, in a medieval manor, come along and seek eggs at Samlesbury Hall this Easter.

Experience lasts approximately 30 minutes, followed by a dragon egg hunt. Every completed hunt gets “treasure” on completion (a mini golden chocolate egg)

£10 (+booking fee) per child, Accompanying adults (up to 2 per child) enter free of charge.
