Easter Eggstravaganza at Farmer Teds

Meet the furry friends on the farm including rabbits, guinea pigs and more. Dinosaurs will also be making an appearance as well as the Easter Bunny. There is also a Shaun the Sheep Easter show too.

Wander through the farm and take part in our Easter adventure trail, filled with fun challenges and surprises along the way. End your trail with meeting the Easter Bunny and receive a delicious chocolatey treat.

Easter on the farm and Lambing Live, Ridgeway Farm, Blackpool

Easter egg hunt – With golden egg prizes and a chance to meet the Easter Bunny himself, there really will be plenty of fun interactions for all the family.
Lambing Live! – Join the farmers in the Big Barn for lambing live where you may even witness a live birth if you are lucky. There are quite a few sheep to lamb this year and maybe a few kids too!

National Trust Easter events
Easter Adventures at Rufford Old Hall
When – 28th March – 12th April 2026
Make your way along the trail and find spring-inspired activities for the whole family.
The price of the trail is £3.50 per child (normal admission charges also apply) and includes a trail map and a chocolate egg at the end – regular chocolate egg and NOMO eggs which are vegan and free from gluten, peanuts and tree nuts.

Easter bunny trail, Gawthorpe Hall
When – 5th April 2026.
The family who lived at Gawthorpe Hall had a special ‘rabbit house’ for their pet bunnies, but the door was left open and the bunnies have escaped into the grounds! Grab a clipboard and trail sheet to see how many you can find in the gardens, then claim your chocolatey prize (while stocks last). Children – make sure to bring an adult with you and get them to put on wellies and a warm coat, you need to as well!

Easter Bunny Crafts at Gawthorpe Hall NT
When – 8th April 2026
Make your own pop-up Easter bunny and have some creative fun with Gawthorpe Hall’s family friendly crafts. Get artistic with your decoration and make your bunny as bright and colourful as you like.

Easter Bunny breakfasts Lancashire
Easter bunny breakfast at Dobbies Preston

Hop along to Dobbies this Easter for a tasty breakfast for the whole family, before taking part in some activities and games.
During the event, children will also be given a mini Lindt chocolate bunny.
This event is suited to families with children aged 3-10 years old. Children under 3 can still take part in some activities with the support of an adult. To relax and fully enjoy the experience, families will be seated and served at their own table

Kids will explore dinosaur-themed games, hunt for prehistoric surprises, and put their creativity to work by making their very own dino egg terrarium to take home.

Easter giant duck hunt, Martin Mere WWT

Find the giant yellow ducks and their five real-life friends hidden around Martin Mere Wetland Centre? Then we need your help!
Each little hunter will be given an activity sheet on arrival, which will take them on a trail around the grounds. Search high and low, and use all of your hide-and-seek skills to find each one and work out which cheeky yellow duck is still missing! It’s £1 a go and there’s a tasty treat if you find them all.

Gozzle. Martin Mere WWT

Explore the wonderful world of wetlands with Gozzle the gosling, from Julia Donaldson and Sara Ogilvie’s freshly hatched picture book.
Follow the interactive trail to discover what it takes for your fuzzy little friend to become a grown-up goose.
Along the way, you’ll strike some funny animal poses. Hop along stepping stones to practice your balance. Seek out a meal using your sense of smell. And keep your eyes peeled for the 15 mini Gozzles hiding along the route. Can you spot them all?
For more feathery fun, you’ll find page after page of action-packed games and puzzles, a sheet of Gozzle stickers, and a bear headband in the Gozzle activity pack – available to buy for £4 from the visitor centre or pop one in your basket when buying your entrance tickets.

Easter family fun day, Lytham Hall

The Easter Bunny has hidden her eggs in the woods so come and help her find them. There are lots of creatures hiding in the woods so watch out for the Fox. Collect some eggs and the Easter Bunny will give you a chocolate surprise.

Easter market at Cuerden Valley

The market itself will be a treasure trove of fresh, local food, drink, and crafts direct from the producer and maker. Local produce, handmade cakes, meat & cheese, handmade candles and beautifully crafted jewellery are just some of the delights you’ll find.

West Lancashire Light Railway Easter egg hunt

Ride the trains, meet the Easter Bunny & join in our Grand Easter Egg Hunt!
Two engines in steam, plus traditional games, free competition with Easter prizes, children’s fairground ride & our famous tearoom.

Easter events Affinity Lancashire (Fleetwood)

Free bouncing bunny trail throughout. ou’ll find the trail entry sheets at the front of the centre and once you’ve found the hidden Bouncing Bunnies be sure to fill in your details and pop your sheet into our entry box for the chance to be a winner.
For some amazing animal encounters visit our pop-up farm between 12 and 4pm on Tuesday 8th and Thursday 10th April, or visit the Little Zoo to You on Wednesday 9th April between 12 and 4pm to meet some more exotic animals – and if you like birds then visit our Owl Experience between 11am and 4pm on Tuesday 15th and Thursday 17th April.
Have fun at Louby Lou’s Easter Party on Wednesday 16th April between 11am and 4pm and then meet the Easter Bunny himself when he visits the centre giving away some chocolatey treats on Easter Saturday, 19th April between 12 and 4pm.
And if you’re a Beatrix Potter fan, be sure to visit on Saturday 12th April where you can meet Peter Rabbit himself at 11am, 12noon, 1pm, 2pm and 3pm. Plus you can take part in his gardening workshop from 11am until 4pm too!

Join the team for a brilliant coastal adventure as they search the strandline for shark, skate, and ray eggcases washed up on the beach. They’ll also be on the lookout for interesting shells, seaweed, and other fascinating finds, while learning about the incredible marine life around our shores. Perfect for nature enthusiasts and beachcombers of all ages!

Mad Hatter’s Tea Party at Brockholes

We will have a whole host of fun filled activities for the whole family to get involved with, such as:

Wild spring Adventure, Brockholes nature reserve
When – 17th April 2025.
Prick up those bunny ears and get ready to welcome in the Spring wildlife at Brockholes Nature Reserve. Learn about baby animals on our trail, who’s egg is who’s, make your own seed bomb and create your own springtime wreath. Join us this Easter to celebrate and encourage new life on this Wild Spring Adventure.
Tickets are £9 per child. Accompanying adults and children over 12 enter free, but please still book a ticket then we can keep track of numbers. Any children over 12 who wish to take part in activities must have a child’s ticket purchased.

Jawsome Sharks Easter Egg Hunt. Sealife Blackpool
When – 5th – 27th April 2025.
Embark on a fascinating activity trail to discover various species of shark eggs hidden throughout the aquarium.
Each egg along the trail will reveal a hidden letter – find all six letters to spell out a secret word. Once the word is unveiled, your Mini Rangers will receive a special Easter reward to take home!
Along the way, you’ll also have the chance to meet the many fascinating shark residents of SEA LIFE.

Easter egg hunt, Winstanley park
When – 18th – 21st April 2025.
Start your day off with a little sand art crafting, before setting off on an adventure through the woodlands on our Easter Egg Trail.
Our trail is unlike any other, a woodland adventure that’s full of surprises! Follow the clues to find all 10 Easter items for your basket, then swap your basket for a chocolate surprise at the end!
Along the way you will find bunnies hanging from trees, hidden eggs on the ground and you may even bump into the Easter Bunny!
Food/Refreshments will also be on hand, where the children can play on the FREE bouncy castles and adults can rest for that much needed hot drink. Props will be up around the trail that make the perfect selfie opportunities (we’d appreciate a tag in these!)
Donkey rides will also be available and these will be chargeable on the day at cost of £2.50
Finish your day off with even more chocolate to take home after enjoying the perfect Winstanley Park Easter!

Easter Xplorer at Brockholes
When – 4th – 20th April 2025
Explore Brockholes, find the markers, complete the challenge and have fun together! Brought to you in partnership with British Orienteering, Xplorer is the perfect outdoor activity to get the whole family outside in the fresh air together! There are certificates for those completing the challenge along with a sweet treat!
There are 2 courses available:
Challenge 1
The markers you need to find are located on or next to surfaced paths and the route is pram friendly. The markers are in number order and form a circular route and is perfect for those who are new to Brockholes or to orienteering or visiting with younger children.
Challenge 2
This course represents more of a challenge and you will need to use your navigation skills to track down the markers located across the reserve! Not suitable for prams.
You can decide on which course you do on the day.
This is an outdoor activity. You will need to come dressed for the weather conditions wearing sturdy footwear. Children must be accompanied and supervised by an adult.
Each map pack contains – One map (either challenge 1 or 2), one answer sheet, a Brockholes Pencil and full instructions. On completion you will receive the answers, a certificate and a sweet treat!

Dragon Egg Easter Quest. Hoghton Tower
When – 21st April 2025.
The Dragon Riders have landed and are looking for new recruits to help them locate the missing dragon eggs which are scattered around Hoghton Tower. Take part in various quests and challenges and tick them off your checklist! Learn about these mystical creatures, meet our enthusiastic characters and become a legendary Dragon Rider!
A perfect event for any dragon enthusiast and, of course, kids who enjoy story-telling and love to be creative!
Suitable for children aged 5-12. The event will run 11am – 3pm each day. Booking a slot is recommended, however you can arrive any time from 11am, with the last entry being at 2pm. We recommend allowing at least 90 minutes to enjoy your adventure.
All children must be accompanied by an adult with a ticket at all times.
Fancy dress is strongly encouraged, however, please ensure everyone wears warm layers underneath their costume and comfortable, warm and flat footwear e.g. trainers or boots.
