Sunflower fields North West 2025
I don’t know about you but I love sunflowers. Over the summer there are lots of sunflower fields North West England. Some are pick your own fields and others are sunflower mazes. Find more Family days out North West here.

Although I’ve checked this post carefully, I have not contacted any of these farms and they will not update me if any of these details below change so please check before visiting.

Sunflower fields Cheshire
Sunflower trail at Kenyon Hall farm – no trail in 2025
Where – Kenyon Hall farm, Winwick Lane, Croft, Warrington, WA3 7ED
Open from – The hot weather hasn’t been kind so there will not be a full trail this year. They have opened the patch for sunflower picking – come down and pick your own fresh flowers to take home, just £1 per stem.

Crewe Green sunflowers – pick your own – Now finished for 2025
Where – Crewe Green, CW1 5UP
Open from – open from 19th July 2025 – closed from 17th August
This sunflower farm is £10 per car including a bunch of sunflowers. £5 per additional bunch (approx 7 stems per bunch).
Some secateurs available to borrow but bring your own if you are able to.

The hayloft sunflower maze trail – Open now for 2025
Where – Sandy Lane, Widnes, Cheshire, WA8 3XP
£5 per person including prizes and 2 sunflower stems, under 2’s are free.
PYO sunflowers are £1 per stem. Please bring your own secateurs.
Jump on the train to the sunflower fields or walk. £2 single £3.50 return.
Delicious coffee shop serving Cheshire farm ice cream. Play area and pedal tractors.

Libby’s patch – sunflower field – Open now for 2025
Where – Shelly Lane, Macclesfield
Open now for 2025. As well as the maze there will be a sandpit, fresh pizza and kids activities.

Sunflower Maze at Great Budworth ice cream farm – Open now for 2025
Where – New Westage Farm, Heath Lane, Great Budworth, CW9 6ND

Open daily from 12.30 till 4.30!

Magical Malpas pick your own sunflowers – now closed for 2025
Where – Malpas road, Agden, Malpas, Cheshire.
Open from – event over for 2025
This is set to be a beautiful picking patch for you to walk around with lovely photo props to take some gorgeous pictures. Expect elves, fairies and gnomes hiding amongst the flowers! Will you be able to find them all?
Sunflower patch entrance fee will be just £2 per person and sunflowers will be £1 per stem to pick and take home.

Free sunflower walk at Snugburys – Open now for 2025
Where – Chester Rd CW5 6BU Nantwich,
Open from – opened 16th August 2025
This is a short sunflower walk that is free at Snugburys Ice cream parlour. There is also a dinosaur wildflower trail (also free). You can buy sunflowers for £5 a bunch.
The ice cream is also delicious and of course there is the 45 feet high Paddington sculpture to see.
We visited on opening weekend and had a lovely visit.

Sunflower fields Manchester
Sunflower trail/field at Dunham Massey ice cream farm – 2025 details
Where – 34 Station Rd, Dunham Massey, Altrincham WA14 5SG
Open from – Wildflower meadow and sunflower meadows open now
Entry is £3 for kids and £4 for adults (access to both). No need to book. Cash or card accepted.

Pick your own sunflower patch at Roby Mill Farm shop – Open now for 2025
Where – Johnsons Farm, Lafford Lane, Upholland, Skelmersdale, WN80QY
Open from – Open Wednesdays (9-5pm), Thursdays (9-5pm), Fridays (9-5pm), Saturdays (9-5pm) and Sundays (10-4pm) throughout August!
Free parking, £1 per person, no booking required. Sunflowers £1 per stem.

George and Clemmie’s farm sunflower field – open now for 2025
Where – Lower Shorrock Hey Farm, Blackburn, BB2 6QU
Open from – open now for 2025 although not all sunflowers are in bloom yet (11th July)
This is a pick your own sunflower field and wildflowers too. They also sell their own delicious ice cream.
No entry fee, pay for what you pick. Bring your own secateurs.
Pick your own wild flowers available too at £8 per jar.
Sunflowers £2.50 for a single stem, 2 or more stems £2 each.

No need to book just turn up and pay for what you pick, £1.50 each.

This year there is only a small patch, perfect for photography but no picking. Slots are for 30 minutes.
