Parents can get their New Year’s Eve started with a glass of bubbly as they arrive for the New Year’s Eve family party, whilst younger guests and adults alike can look forward to filling themselves with plenty of party food at the delicious buffet.
Whilst the grown-ups enjoy a pan-Asian-style buffet, the children will be kept mesmerised by spellbinding magician and other entertainment for kids, during this family-friendly event to see in the New Year!

A great opportunity to see the new year in as a family, and for the children to celebrate, as much as the adults. This year there will be a family disco, and sensational entertainment provided by a family DJ, so get glammed up and be ready to do the baby shark!!
There is a late supper to include kids’ boxes with nibbles and snacks, and buffet platters served to the table provided by Carlton Caterers (vegetarian option available please state when purchasing tickets)

Christmas at Bolesworth 2023 – book now
As dusk falls this dog-friendly Christmas Lights Trail comes to life and becomes the most dazzling winter illuminations event in Cheshire and beyond. Bolesworth is bathed in seasonal colour, our beautiful grounds lit with thousands of stunning lights and effects, projections and interactive installations creating an unforgettable seasonal experience for children and grown-ups alike.
There is also a fairground, festive food and drink and reindeer. You can add on ice skating and/or Santa’s grotto.
There will be fireworks at 8pm on new years eve.

Lanterns and light at Chester Zoo – sold out for new years eve, tickets available for other nights still
This year Chester zoo has joined up with Sony music to create whole new captivating light installations. Be transported into enchanting lands filled with colour and festivity, where you can meet orangutans, lions, dolphins and woolly mammoths as you make your way along the trail! Wonder at the colour-changing displays stretching as far as the eye can see, while birds and stars adorn the zoo’s winding paths and trees. Take a walk through the spectacular Winter Cathedral tunnel of lights and even catch a glimpse of Father Christmas in his sleigh.
