Visiting a maize maze (or sunflower maze) is a fantastic family activity through the summer and early autumn. Below you’ll find all the maize maze North West England 2024 (and a few sunflower maze too). Find more great family days out North West England here.

Maize Maze in Cheshire
There are loads of maize mazes in Cheshire to choose from.
Kenyon hall farm Maize maze – limited details for 2024
Opening late July.
Where – Kenyon Hall Farm, Winwick Lane, Croft, Warrington, WA3 7ED
If you’re looking for a maize maze near Warrington then you need to check out Kenyon hall farm.
For 2023 there is a new legendary theme. Can you navigate the winding paths and find fearless knights, brave princesses and legendary characters along the way?
Tickets cost £3.50 per person, with discounts for groups and free for infants under 18 months.
The maze takes around 20-40 mins to complete, with six locations to find.

Apple Jacks Adventure Farm Maize maze – no details yet for 2024
Maize from late July
Where – Apple Jacks Adventure Farm, Stretton Road, Warrington, WA4 4NW.
This is another maize maze in Warrington. Apple Jack’s adventure farm has loads going on for kids this summer including a maize maze.
Tickets cost £12.50 for everyone over 90cm.

Tatton Park farm Maize Maze – 2024 details
Where – Tatton Park farm, Tatton Park, Knutsford, Cheshire, WA16 6QN (sat nav WA16 6SG)
The maize maze is part of summer on the farm which will also include sheep racing, taster Tuesdays and Planet Fridays.

Seven Sisters ice cream farm Maize maze – no details yet for 2024
This popular maize maze in Knutsford is open now for 2023. Open every weekend through September and October. Halloween themed from the 21st including night mazes.
Where – Holmes Chapel Road, Knutsford.
This year’s theme is Ice Cream Fest. Some of the festival staff and visitors have got lost in the maze. Can you help us find them and find your way out?
Open Wed to Sat 11- 4.30, Sundays 11-3.30.
Maize maze takes approx 1 hour.
Tickets cost £6 for everyone 12 and over. £5 fo children aged 3-12.
Under 3s go free / Under 12s must be accompanied by an adult
No need to book – tickets available from inside the ice cream parlour!

Halloween maze details – Day maze – 21st & 22nd, 25th – 29th October 2023. Night maze – 27th and 28th October only, family hour 6 pm – 8pm, super spooky hours – 8-10pm

Where – Shellow lane, Macclesfield, SK11 9RS
4 acre maize maze in Cheshire. You can also purchase pizza, slushies hot dogd and other drinks. PYO sweetcorn. Sand pit and straw bale pyramid.

Sunflower Maze in Cheshire
Magical Malpas PYO farm – no details yet for 2024, will be back

Mythical maze and PYO sunflowers.
Where – Malpas road, Agden, Malpas, Cheshire.
Your visit will begin with a visit to the photo village where you can take some gorgeous photos using our props, including our new pirate ship! How many movie scarecrows will you spot before entering the maize maze?
Hidden in the maze, you will find lots of scarecrows from movies old and new! Can you name them all? After winding your way through our maze, you will make your way to the beautiful sunflower patch! Here you can visit the animals in their paddock (Trev and Tilly, the donkeys, Wilma and Betty, the sheep and Lily and Houdini our miniature, Pygmy goats!) After saying hello, make your way through the paths in the sunflower patch, making sure to snap some gorgeous photos of the flowers and props.
Open daily from 10am – 4pm (last entry is 3.30pm) until the sunflowers have gone. Any closures will be announced on Facebook here.
Entry to the photo village, scarecrow maze & sunflower patch is £6 per person. Babies under 1 year are free. 1 sunflower stem per paying customer is included in the entry fee. Additional sunflowers can be purchased for an extra £1 per stem. Bring your own secateurs.
No booking is required. Cash preferred. Wellies advised.

Great Budworth Ice Cream Farm sunflower maze – no details yet for 2024
Open now for 2023.
Where – New Westage Farm, Gt Budworth, Northwich, Cheshire, CW9 6ND
Open daily 12:30 – 5pm (last admission 4:30)
Admission is £2 for adults (over 14) and £3 for children 4 and over, under 4s £1. All children get a worksheet and prize.
Strong shoes or wellies are recommended.
Don’t forget to check out the animals and the ice cream in the cafe.

This year’s theme is dinosaurs!
You can navigate your way through approximately 7 acres of maize maze filled with different games and challenges for you to complete as well as surprises for you to find along the way.
There is also a fun zone with trampolines and bouncy castles.
