Some of these events require pre-booking so I’d recommend you do that as soon as you decide you want to in order to avoid disappointment.

Grinch events Cheshire

Christmas at Magical woodland – 2026 tickets now on sale

When: 28th November – 24th December 2026.

Where: Blakemere village, Northwich

Cost: Adults £27.73, children £18

Summary: Enjoy a woodland walk in the dark through 15 acres of illuminated woodlands. Includes actors on the trail such as the Grinch and Scrooge. There is also a short Father Christmas appearance. This magical forest is sure to be a Christmas favourite his year. No dogs.

Grinchmas tea party, The Mobberley ice cream company – no details yet for 2026

When – 20th November & 17th December 2025

Where – Mobberley Dairy Farm, Church Ln, Mobberley, Knutsford, WA16 7RA

Enjoy delicious treats before the Grinch makes a special appearance. There will also be party games.

Christmas Alpine retreat, Castaway play, Congleton – 2026 tickets on sale now

When: 21st November -24th December 2026

Where: 71 Moss Lane, Congleton, CW12 3BP

Cost: from £9.99 per adult and £24.99 per child (£9.99 for under 1s), family of 4 £49.99 (multiple different package options available)

Summary: Families can visit Santa’s private grotto, explore the magical woodland and wishing tunnel, see the Elf Cottage, and enjoy festive surprises along the way. There is also a visit to the Grinch in his lair and a stop at the new North Pole Post Office, where children can send their Christmas wishes.

The event also includes lots of hands on activities and family fun. Children can choose a toy from Santa’s Toy Shop, decorate gingerbread with Mrs Claus, play in the winter woodland, and enjoy a snowball fight area. Families can race in the sleigh challenge, make reindeer food for Christmas Eve, and even build their own bear to take home.

Grinch in Whoville Grotto, Warrington – no details yet for 2026

Meet the one and only Grinch as he causes mischief and mayhem in the Whooville Grotto! Watch as he tries (and fails!) to steal Christmas, spreading laughter, chaos and just a little bit of festive cheer along the way.

Full of interactive fun, cheeky humour and heart warming moments, our Grinch Grotto is perfect for families who love a good giggle and a touch of Christmas magic.

Christmas on the farm, Lancaster Park & animal farm – 2026 tickets on sale

When: Selected dates from 5th – 24th December 2026

Cost: Adults £15.72, children £18.86, under 1 £7.34 Includes farm and grotto.

Summary: Journey through the magical grotto and meet the Grinch, write your letter to Santa, meet the big man and even have your photo taken in his sleigh. Join Mrs Claus for a story and so much more. There’ll also be animal petting and all the usual fun on the farm.

Summary: This is a “Grump that stole Christmas” event. The sessions last 1 hour and they are suitable for everyone 3 years and older. This family-friendly Christmas quest will see you leaping, running and exploring the huge treetop bouncy nets, whilst sneaking into the Grumpy Grotto to steal back Christmas from the infamous Grump!

Free Christmas Characters In The City, Lancaster – no details yet for 2026

When: 14th December 2025

Christmas is nearly here so what better way to celebrate before Christmas meeting some festive characters? Can you find the real elf on the shelf in the city? Can you persuade the Grinch to love Christmas? And what about the fabulous Festive Gonks roaming the streets? Make sure to get lots of photos with our Christmas Characters in the city!

It will also be the final time to visit Santa on the Stagecoach Grotto Bus before he heads off to get ready to deliver all the presents on Christmas morning.
