Some of these events require pre-booking so I’d recommend you do that as soon as you decide you want to in order to avoid disappointment.
Grinch events Cheshire
Christmas at Magical Woodland Cheshire – book now for 2025
When – 28th November – 24th December 2025
This is a lovely light trail in Cheshire and there is one section that is themed on the Grinch. He’s really interactive and really good with children. The Grinch was one of the most popular character (actors) on the trail with quite the crowd around him.

Grinchmas tea party, The Mobberley ice cream company – book now for 2025

Summary: Journey through the magical grotto and meet the Grinch, write your letter to Santa, meet the big man and even have your photo taken in his sleigh. Join Mrs Claus for a story and so much more. There’ll also be animal petting and all the usual fun on the farm.

Summary: This is a “Grump that stole Christmas” event. The sessions last 1 hour and they are suitable for everyone 3 years and older. This family-friendly Christmas quest will see you leaping, running and exploring the huge treetop bouncy nets, whilst sneaking into the Grumpy Grotto to steal back Christmas from the infamous Grump!

Free Christmas Characters In The City, Lancaster – 2025 details
When: 14th December 2025
Christmas is nearly here so what better way to celebrate before Christmas meeting some festive characters? Can you find the real elf on the shelf in the city? Can you persuade the Grinch to love Christmas? And what about the fabulous Festive Gonks roaming the streets? Make sure to get lots of photos with our Christmas Characters in the city!
It will also be the final time to visit Santa on the Stagecoach Grotto Bus before he heads off to get ready to deliver all the presents on Christmas morning.
