In February you’ll see lots of lambs all across our beautiful countryside. A lambing event is a great place to take the kids in spring to learn about and see new life. Below you’ll find all the lambing events North West and where to see lambs North West 2026. Find more Family days out North West England here.
Please ensure you click through to the event organisers’ website and check if the event is still running before travelling to your chosen event. Occasionally events do get cancelled due to severe weather etc and I can’t guarantee I will be aware.

Where to see lambs Cheshire
Lambing on the farm, Tatton park
When – 28th March – 5th April 2026 (closed Mondays)
Where – Tatton Park, Knutsford, Cheshire, WA16 6QN
Farm staff share their expertise with visitors, giving informative talks at the lambing shed. Learn how they spot the signs of lambing and how they look after sheep and care for lambs during this extra special time.
Every day throughout lambing week daily talks will be at 12pm & 2pm.

Meet the new additions to the farm. Tickets include a cuddle with a lamb, live lambing and learn all about sheep and lambs.

Lambing weekends at Reaseheath Zoo

Lambing at Pye Ash farm
When – 4th, 5th, 11th & 12th April 2026
Where – Pye Ash farm, Macclesfield, Cheshire.
90 minute sessions (45 minutes in the lambing shed), no dogs allowed. Tickets include real life lambing (if you’re lucky), meet the lambs and bottle feed them, learn about spring on the farm, meet the farmer and ride on tractors.

Barnyard Baby Bash, Cockfields farm

Embark on a delightful adventure at the Barnyard Baby Bash on the farm! Immerse yourself in the joy of new-born lambs, playful calves, fluffy chicks, and adorable ducklings!
The event will include farmers talks, bottle-feeding demonstrations and more farm yard fun.

Lambing live at Reddish Vale Farm
When – 14th – 22nd February 2026
Where –
Over 40 lambs and 30 kids due with arrivals expected from 14th! This event is included in general admission.
The team of farmers will be on the yard monitoring progress, answering your questions and on hand to teach you all about lambing.

Where to see lambs Liverpool
I’m not aware of any farms where you can see lambing in Liverpool/Merseyside but please let me know if you know of one.

Lambing on the farm, Windmill animal farm
Throughout February half-term.
Get ready to bring your little ones to meet their little ones and get up close to all the action in The Lambing Barn. Everyone can help bottle feed the lambs too! Plus indoor and outdoor play areas.

Mrs Dowsons Farm Park
When – 7th March – 17th May 2026
Hundreds of lambs are expected to be born this spring. You can expect to be notice the signs of lambing in sheep, hopefully see lambs being born and join in with the bottle feeding sessions.
Tickets – Adults – £10.07, Children £12.05, including farm park admission, indoor play and lamb feeding.

Greenlands farm village
When – Late night lambing is back every night in February and March 2026, 8-8:30pm
Come behind the scenes for the evening feed of our ADORABLE pet lambs… Step into their pen, help make up our bottles and get hands on with bottle feeding! Your 30 minute session will also include a check-in with our expectant ewes and maybe even some mischievous goat kids!
£6.50 per person, each session is for up to 6 people.

Where to see lambs Cumbria
Lambing week at Walby Farm park
When – 14th – 22nd February 2026. You can also see lambing as part of their Easter event.
During February Half Term School Holiday the animal barn will be a hive of activity as our Livestock team work morning and night helping deliver lots of new lambs. You can get close to the action and see the new lambs just days old.
And when spring is just around the corner and with all this magic of new life on the farm, what better way to have fun with our daily magic shows from Stu-di-doo (16-20th February only).
If that’s not enough to keep the kids entertained, there are a whole host of activities indoors and out to have fun all day long.

Pet lambing experience at South Lakes Lamb experiences
Where – Based 15mins from J36, nr Grange-over-Sands. Full address sent to you when you book
When – Selected dates from 22nd February – 20th March 2026
Come and help us to feed and care for our gorgeous cuddly pet lambs. Suitable for all ages. 1-hour slots where you will have chance to meet and play with the lambs, help make their bottles and of course – feed them.
You will also learn what else it takes to care for them, e.g. make sure they have a nice bed to sleep in and introduce them to grown up sheep food and water.
Dates up to 22nd March:
Finally, you will get a chance to walk through our main lambing shed where there will be lots of mother sheep waiting to have their babies and lots of new-borns, you may even be really lucky and get to see a birth.
Dates after 22nd March:
Our sheep will be nearly finished lambing by now, so instead you will get time to spend with our older lambs who have been weaned off milk but are still very friendly and love a good cuddle.
There may also be a few sheep with young lambs still in the barns to say hello to.
There will be plenty of opportunities to ask lots of questions and take pictures.
Great fun for children and adults alike
Small groups for maximum enjoyment.
Price £10 per participant.
1 observer/supervisor allowed per child participant. Additional guests must have their own ticket.
