I’ve done my best to add the details of all these events accurately and keep them up to date but I strongly advise you to click through and check on the organiser’s website to ensure the dates, locations, times are correct. Events maybe changed or cancelled and I will not necessarily be aware of this. Links are providers so you can confirm all details for yourself before travelling or booking. Some of these events require pre-booking so I’d recommend you do that as soon as you decide you want to in order to avoid disappointment.

Dunham Massey Ice Cream farm Pumpkin picking – book now for 2025
Where: Altrincham, WA14 5SG
When: From 27th September – 31st October 2025
Cost: £6 per car or group if you arrive on foot
Summary: As well as a great variety of pumpkins of all shapes, sizes and colours, we also have fantastic photo opportunities and outdoor food offerings. There will be lots of yummy street food including, Pizza, Burgers and much more. We also have coffee and alcoholic drinks available too.
Don’t forget out Halloween themed ice cream flavours too! There will be a fun scavenger hunt for kids!

Cockfields farm pumpkin festival- book now for 2025
Where: Ashton/Oldham Border OL6 8AR
When: 4th – 31st October 2025
Cost: from Adult Tickets: £14.95, Child Ticket: £14.95, Under 1s: £4.95,
Summary: Huge outdoor pumpkin patch and mini indoor pumpkin patch, tractor rides, Halloween show, fairground carousel and all the usual farm yard fun. Includes mini (toddler) pumpkin patch (term time) and main pumpkin patch event on weekends and in half term.

Cockfields farm pumpkin festival after dark- book now for 2025
Where: Ashton/Oldham Border OL6 8AR
When: Selected dates 24th – 31st October 2025
Cost: from Adult Tickets: £12.95, Child Ticket: £12.95, Under 1s: £4.95. 1 free pumpkin with every ticket.
Summary: Festoon-lit spooky pumpkin patch with live music, food & drink stalls. Halloween characters walking around, spooky disco, animals, fairground carousel.

Halloween festival – Reddish Vale farm – Book now for 2025
Where: Reddish Vale farm, Stockport, SK5 7HE
When: 4th – 31st October 2025
Cost: Tickets from £13.50 per adult, £17.50 per child (includes 1 pumpkin)
Summary: visit all the animals and outdoor play areas as well as The Spooky Express tractor ride (£2.50 per ride), vampire archery, pick your own pumpkin and carve it, Halloween children’s games and more. Pumpkin patch and carving.

Moonlit pumpkin evenings, Reddish Vale Farm – book now for 2025
Where: Reddish Vale farm, Stockport, SK5 7HE
When: 11th, 12th, 18th & 19th, 25th & 26th October 2025, 5-8pm
Cost: from £12.50, pumpkins not included but can be purchased (priced individually)
Summary: Head to the glowing pumpkin patch. Halloween Characters will be roaming for the perfect pictures! also to include fairground rides (additional costs), live bands/singers. Visit the outdoor farmyard animals after dark- (the small animal handling barn is closed).

Pumpkin picking, Smithills open farm, Bolton – book now for 2025
Where: Smithills open farm, Smithills Dean Rd, Bolton BL1 7NS
When: 11th, 12th, 18th, 19th, 25th – 31st October 2025.
Cost: £6 per pumpkin which does not include farm entry. If you just want pumkins it’s £6, you need farm entry as well if you want the Halloween activities. Farm entry includes Halloween activities from 25th to 31st October. Prices start from £11.
Summary: Halloween activities include a spooky sweet hunt, farm staff in fancy dress, the farm is decorated for Halloween and a Children’s fancy dress competition.

Halloween on the farm, Lancaster farm – tickets on sale now for 2025
Where: Lancaster Park & Animal Farm, Middleton Road, Chadderton, Oldham, OL1 2TG
When: Weekends from 4th October and then daily from the 25th to 31st October 2025.
Cost: Adults £13.62 (no pumpkin), Child (1 -15 years): £16.77 (includes pumpkin), Baby (under 12 months): £6.81 (includes pumpkin)
Summary: Pick and carve your own pumpkin from the patch, Halloween disco, spooky characters, fancy dress competition, all the usual farmyard fun included too.

Pumpkin patch at Brookheys Farm, Dunham Massey – book now for 2025
Where: Brookheys farm, Sinderland Lane, Dunham Massey – WA14 5SY
When: Open every weekend from the 4th – 26th October 2025.
Cost: booking required. £5.60 per adult, £4.48 per child. No pumpkins included in the fee. Pumpkins are priced on size and range from £1 – £3 munchkins, £3 – £15 for carving pumpkins.
Summary: Admission includes maize maze and Tractor & Trailer Ride from the car park to the pumpkin patch & back again. Farm animals, scavenger hunt and photo opportunities.

Halloween at Jersey Girls dairy Ice cream parlor – Book now for 2025
Where: Jersey girls dairy ice cream, Higher woodhill farm, Woodhill road, Bury, BL8 1BS
When: 18th – 31st October 2025
Includes pumpkin picking and carving.
£12 – per pumpkin. Each ticket includes one pumpkin, admission for the pumpkin carver, alongside a maximum of two supervising visitors. Sessions last about 1 hour.

Croston Pumpkin patch – Details for 2025
Where: Culshaws Farm, Holker Lane, Leyland, PR26 8LL (not far from Bolton)
When: 4th/5th, 11th/12th, 18th/19th & everyday from 25th to 31st October 2025
Cost – no entry fee
Further details – expect Pumpkin picking, maize maze, Fairground rides and fireworks on the 25th only.
