Jersey girls, Bury
Location – Higher woodhill farm, Woddhill road, Bury, BL8 1BS
Located on a working farm this parlour sells amazing ice cream from their heard of Jersey cows which you can see on the farm.

Milk maids, Bolton
Location – Deardens Farm, Manchester road, Over Hulton, Bolton, BL5 1AT
This is an award winning dairy serving handmade gelato ice cream made right there on the farm. There’s also a farm shop selling milk, eggs, potatoes, preserves and more.

Smithills farm ice creamery, Bolton
Location – Smithills Open Farm Ltd, Smithills Dean Rd, Bolton, BL1 7NS
Based in the car park of this children’s farm in Bolton is an amazing dairy. You can visit as part of your day at the farm or without having to enter the farm. You can buy milk, free range eggs and hot and cold drinks as well as ice cream from them.

Grandpa Greene’s, Oldham
Location – Ward Lane, Diggle, Saddleworth, Oldham, OL3 5JT and Canal Side, Ward Lane, Diggle, Saddleworth, Oldham, OL3 5JT
This luxury ice cream is made from the milk of cows grazing across Saddleworth using old fashioned methods and modern equipment. Of course, there are loads of other desserts too. There’s also a cafe with savoury options available.

Dunham Massey NT

This National Trust has it’s own ice cream parlour in the grounds serving delicious ice cream.

Dunham Massey Ice cream farm
Where – 34 Station Rd, Dunham Massey, Altrincham WA14 5SG
The Ice-Cream is made on the farm and they have lots of unique flavours, always changing including White Chocolate and Orea, Malteaser, Caramac, Custard Cream and many more.
They also have hot drinks, pizzas and toasties and loads of indoors seating. They have sunflower trails in the summer and pumpkin picking in the autumn.
