There’s plenty going on for kids this Halloween in Lancashire. Below you’ll find all the Halloween events Lancashire for 2025. There are family-friendly shows, farm events featuring pumpkin carving, Halloween discos and so much more. This post is part of a series of posts on Halloween events North West.

Scare Kingdom Scream Park – 2025 tickets on sale now

Summary: 1 free pumpkin per paying child. Expect dinosaurs, a dead scary maize maze, pumpkin carving, fancy dress competitions, spooky ghost stories and loads of photo opportunities. Designed for young children, spooky not scary

Mrs Dowsons Farm Park’s Pumpkin Festival – 2025 tickets on sale now

Summary: explore 3 acres of pumpkins including homegrown and 12 imported varieties of pumpkins. They also offered adult-only evenings (see below).

Xplorer at Brockholes – Details for 2025
Where: Brockholes nature reserve, just off Junction 31 of the M6, Preston, Lancashire, PR5 OAG
When: 22nd October – 9th November 2025
Cost: £4.50 if booked in advance, £5.50 on the day
Summary: Explore Brockholes, find the markers, complete the challenge and have fun together! Brought to you in partnership with British Orienteering, Xplorer is the perfect outdoor activity to get the whole family outside in the fresh air together! There are certificates for those completing the challenge along with a sweet treat!
There are 2 courses available, one is pram-friendly and the markers are in number order in a circular route. The other course is more challenging and not pram-friendly. Families will need to use navigation skills to find markers across the reserve.

Where: The Roost, Berkeley drive, PR5 6BY
Cost: £8 per person
Summary: Aimed at children 5-11 years. The walk will be over the space of an hour, so please dress appropriately to the weather conditions of the day (a raincoat is a must!). We would also recommend Wellies or a pair of walking boots as the terrain will vary; you and your party will be walking off footpaths, so if you’re a little unsteady on your feet – this one might not be for you. The walk will also be 2km, so please be wary if you would struggle over that distance.

Willow Webs and Spiders at Heysham Nature Reserve – no details yet for 2025
When – 22nd October 2024
Join Julie from Pip Cottage to make your very own willow woven spider and web to celebrate Halloween. All materials and step by step instruction are provided. All children need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian. This 2-and-a-half-hour session is suitable for those aged 8 and above. If you and your child (ages 6 – 8) have worked with willow before and feel this session would suit you to, do book on.

Animals that go bump in the night at Heysham Nature Reserve – no details yet for 2025
When – 23rd October 2024
Join us to learn about the basic skills and techniques in monoprinting using Gelli plates. It is all about mark making and this Halloween we will be creating animals who are either nocturnal or only live in dark habitats into artwork.
All materials are provided. Our activities are suitable for families for children ages 5 and upwards. Parental supervision is required throughout the session.
