This post will help you to find a real Christmas in the Lake District. It answers the question of where to buy a real Christmas tree Cumbria 2024. I’ve only found a few but they all sound great options. This post is part of a series of post on Christmas Events North West.
I haven’t included all the garden centres and other shops that sell real trees. Below are the Christmas tree farms and shops.

Holbeck Farm Christmas trees – 2024 details
Where – Holebeck Farm, Frizington, CA25 5HJ
When – Open from 15th November 2024

Perfect Christmas trees – 2024 details
Where – Thiefside, Calthwaite, Penrith, CA11 9RN
When – 23rd November – 22nd December 2024
Local delivery within 13 miles of the farm available. They have Nordman fir, Norway Spruce, Fraser fir, Blue spruce and pot grown trees.

Lake District eco Christmas Trees – 2024 details
Where – Online store but located in the Lake District
When – Now open
Rent a pot grown Christmas tree grown in the Lake District. Then after Christmas you can return your tree to them so they can look after it and ensure it contniues to grow ready to be rented out again next Christmas.

Whinlatter Forest – details for 2024
Where – Whinlatter Forest, Whinlatter Pass, Keswick, CA12 5TW
When – From 30th November 2024
I can’t think of a better place to buy a Christmas tree than driving up into the forest. They have spruce, pine and fir trees from 4ft to 8ft trees, raging from £23 -£78.

Crabtree Christmas trees – details for 2024
Where – Crabtree Farm, Cow Brow, Lupton, Carnforth, Cumbria, LA6 1PJ
When – from 1st December 2024
They have a range of freshly cut premium Nordmann Christmas trees.

When – 30th November – 20th December 2024
They will again be selling real preimum Nordman fir non-drop Christmas trees.
