Lake District fireworks 2025
Do you love fireworks? If so you’ll enjoy reading this post and getting some ideas for where to watch Lake District fireworks 2025 and across all of Cumbria too. An organised display is safer, cheaper and much more fun than doing fireworks at home. This post is part of a series of posts on firework displays North West England.
I’ve done my best to add the details of all these events accurately and keep them up to date but I strongly advise you to click through and check on the organiser’s website to ensure the dates and times have not changed. Some of these events require pre-booking so I’d recommend you do that as soon as you decide you want to in order to avoid disappointment. Always check the details and terms and conditions for yourself on the event organisers page, links included below for this purpose.

Carlisle Fireshow – details for 2025
Where: Bitts park, Dacre Rd, Carlisle, CA3 8UZ
When: 1st November 2025, show starts 6:30 pm,
Cost: Free but donations are welcomed.
Further details: There will be a centre piece bonfire and more than 2,000 spectacular sparkling fireworks will also light up the sky.
Taste Cumbria will be bringing its food and drink festival to the Cathedral grounds, in the heart of Carlisle, on Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 November. The event will include food and drink traders, live music on the festival stage, hot food stalls, children’s activities and face painting, street theatre and fire-themed entertainment. Stalls will be open between 10am and 5pm on the Saturday and between 11am and 4pm on the Sunday.

WRUFC Annual Bonfire & Fireworks Display – book now for 2025
Where: Windermere RUFC
When: 1st November 2025, gates open 5.30pm,
Cost: Early bird offer for all tickets booked in September – Adult £8, Child £4, Family ticket (2+2) £20.
Prices from October and on the night will be Adult £10, Child £5, Family ticket (2+2) £25.
Further details: 3 live bands, 3 bars, fire eater, street food, ice cream van, real ale and mulled wine.

Coniston fireworks – details for 2025
Where: Coniston sports and social club
When: 7th November 2025, gates 4pm
Cost: donations
Further details: Bonfire lit at 6pm, Fireworks at 7pm, BBQ from 6pm.

Swanfire night – details for 2025
Where: Swan Hotel and Spa, Newby Bridge
When: 2nd November 2025 from 5-8 pm
Cost: Free event
Full details: Fully-stocked bar, delicious barbeque, pizza van, full firework display and, of course, a brilliant bonfire to keep you nice and toasty. Please note there will be 2 fabulous firework displays.

When: 2nd November 2025, from 6-6:30 pm

Bonfire Bonanza at Walby Farm Park – book now for 2025

Cove Fest Bonfire night celebrations – details for 2025

Hawkshead Bonfire – details for 2025
Where – The recreation ground, Hawkshead
When: 1st November 2025
All welcome from 5pm,
Food and drink available to buy.
Donations on entry. All donations go towards the cost of putting on the fireworks next year, which exceeds £5000.

Bonfire night at Low Wood Bay – book now for 2025
When: 5th November 2025
Where: Low Wood Bay, Ambleside Rd, Windermere LA23 1LP
Cost: £12.50 per adult | £7.50 per child | £30 family ticket (2 adults & 2 children)
6-9pm, firework display approximately 7.30pm – 7.45pm
Join the team in the Gallery Lounge and take advantage of the elevated views out over the hotel lawns towards the lake. Sam the dog will be on hand to entertain our smaller visitors and there will be music throughout the evening from our DJ. A seasonal selection of food and bonfire themed goodies will be available to purchase on the evening.
Other options available including watching the fireworks from the spa or from the restaurant with food.
